Longevity for Sustainability

CO2 discharge from nuclear plants are comparable to wind farms and are lower than solar plants

Nuclear power plants produce negligible quantity of greenhouse gas. The quantity of CO2 emissions per kWh of electrical energy produced during its operation is comparable to wind plant emissions and is less than one third of solar plant emissions. Even when including indirect emissions from the production of nuclear plant’s individual elements, the share of emissions from nuclear energy is negligible when compared to fossil fuel plant’s emissions.
